Lingfield 7.50

Robin - Lingfield 7.50 - Handicap - Class 6 - 5 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Firm

This is a pretty low Grade race but a few stand out for the reasons I'll elaborate on.

Sparked and Imperiousity have obvious chances but it's not the type of race to take too short a price on and I do think on Good to Firm there is a Draw bias on the under-used 5 furlong turf track here. Fragrance at a big price did win as a juvenile for the Johnstons and not many of these have won or may never win a race so a small £1 e/w may float the boats of a few of you who like that type of fun bet.

I'm most confident about FAIR AND SQUARE who has Rossa Ryan up for Ron Harris and on the basis of two decent and prominent runs at Bath, I think this one looks crack each way value in the conditions.

There are a couple of bandits (in the nicest sense) here drawn High, and I think the rail is the place to be!

KODI DANCER is drawn in 13 and has won a couple of weak races and would have a sporting chance here under the conditions and BOOM THE GROOM is a bandit with 4 legs running for a bandit with two legs and ridden by a bandit with mercurial talent, what could possibly go wrong, but at the price, I can't resist a nibble.

Tips (1) Fair And Square / (2s) Boom The Groom / (3s) Kodi Dancer
