Kempton 7.30 + Yarmouth Tracker
By National Hunt UK (Robin T)
ROBIN - KEMPTON 7.30 Class 5 1 miles 4 furlongs 12 run
A competitive Handicap just a few Yards short of 1 + 1/2 miles and we want to take on the favourite Beat The Judge here whose form doesn't really entice us at the price. WAR BRIGADE could be one to watch closely and to track onwards, it has had a wind operation and suspicion is this trip is on the short side. It could be they want to give the horse a good blow and one to watch at 14 furlongs to 2 miles after tonight and add to your Trackers.
The one i really like at nice e/w odds is GLENDUN who should retain some fitness from a run here in March. A Course winner over a mile in the past off a mark of 75 and that was off a similar 109 day break. Has been over Hurdles to validate that the trip on the Flat should now be its optimum one and I think it can outrun the Odds to place at least.
TRACKER - Yarmouth 6.10 Class 6 Handicap 6 furlongs + 3 yards 11 run
A moderate race and one to keep an eye on "if backed" during the day is Friday Fizz. The Owner who rates himself as a Tipster (not many others do) likes a tilt at the ring.
However, the one we like is DAHIK who won off a mark of 55 on Good to Firm Turf last time it was seen on grass of a mark off 55 at Redcar. The only quandry is race fitness but it was runner up on debut as a 2 year old and the impression from that lst turf run was very positive. Mick Easterby can send them out just needing the run so one to Track for next few runs whatever happens this evening.
