It;s Good to Firm here and a pretty flat track so it won't play to the strengths of any plodders.

 

Ranco is well backed but carries an 8 lbs penalty and is upped in trip and I'm far sweeter at this end of the market on the chances of MISS BAMBY who is a course winner, over a shorter trip and who tries further but who has shown every sign that it will be well within its scope. I can't really see too many dangers to it.

 

Getaway Cory is a 19 race Maiden I've had place success with a few times, it will pick up a race one day and deserves to, at the price differentials today I fancy MISS BAMBY More and whilst reluctant to leave it out as I'm confident it may run another place, at the odds there are better bigger priced e/w options I feel.

 

Red Maple for Jonjo is back hurdling after disappointing over fences, we all know what the Yard are capable of but on balance I think the horse is best watched until showing some glimmers of actual form. Pottlerath is one i've tipped a few times a bit like Getaway Cory, it may need further than this trip now but has placed form off marks of 88 and 89 when tipped so the mark today of 95 also just puts me off it. If Pottlerath and Getaway Cory finish 1-2 I'll just have to take it on the chin!

 

Stripe Of Honour is in the TRACKER courtesy of an 80/1 win at Worcester, it wore a first time tongue strap that day, they now seem to add a visor and it's dropped in trip and I wouldn't rule out another big run (if you want a quid each way on it) but a couple of others caught my eye more.

 

TRE A PENI drops in trip and has shown glimmers over shorter and further than this and this could be an ideal distance for it. The Trainers are in cracking form and off a mark of 74 it can be expected to be challenging for a place at nice odds. ROCK THE HOUSE won off marks of 103 and 104 for Olly Murphy before going a bit sour. A lot of his tend to do that I'm afraid and his operation reminds me of the way they factory farm chickens and  the like. The horse has moved to Katy Price and she does well rejuvenating such types. I'm interested enough even off top weight and a mark of 100 to have a small dabble.
