Ffos Llas 3.30
By National Hunt UK (Robin T)
ROBIN - FL 3.30 Handicap Hurdle - Class 3 - 2 miles 4 furlongs - 12 Run - Soft > Heavy
It's likely to be pretty dead ground so this will test stamina to the full.
At the top end of the market, No Tackle was a narrow Lingfield winner last time in Heavy and looks progressive but the form is hard to quantify, Equinus makes handicap debut upped in trip from 2 miles and could be anything quite frankly and Rocky Man was a runner up in a Handicap Hurdle over Course and Distance last time off a mark of 122 in Soft and would clearly be the one they all have to beat on that form IF you wanted a win saver at pretty restrictive Odds.
Looking elsewhere though Gladiateur Allen is in the Tracker based on a bit of promising form but hasn't yet really looked like winning a race, the form is solid but no more and there are a couple at bigger odds I fancy a bit more here. New Found fame has also shown some promise for Kerry Lee and is one I have just added to the TRACKER but will watch today.
A sporting pair therefore against this field are WHITEHOTCHILLIFILLI for Harry Fry who has a win at this trip in Heavy Going already off a mark of 130, has had a couple of quiet runs this season but arrives looking primed as a result off a mark of 126 and undeniable evidence that it should have no excuses in the trip or in this Going.
At bigger Odds is PILEON a Course and Distance winner in a Novice Hurdle in Heavy Going off a mark of 133 if you look far enough back to 2020. It's dropped quite significantly in Class here after some disappointing runs but still retains ability and is therefore of interest off a mark of 129, and at face value this does look like it's easiest assignment for some considerable time.
TRACKER - Whitehotchillifilli / Shrapnel - Pileon (Rocky Man - win saver if you wish)
