An excellent run from Ardhoomey yesterday who just found one to good and absolutely no excuses there. Njord was very disappointing but may have needed the run and one we will track now that it has had a run.
NO ELITE today, David can't find the type of big field Handicap in the UK that he excels at, no doubt he will be back during Royal Ascot next week with some cracking tips and analysis.
A lot of good races today but much of a muchness and we do want to deliver the usual 2-3 races with Tips and Analysis as we always do for the 4 big Festivals with Royal Ascot next week, so a quiet day where we will focus on one race at Doncaster. We have a couple of nice each way punts lined up in Ireland tomorrow and those will be mailed out at around 10am.
ROBIN T - Doncaster 2.15 - Class 4 Handicap 7 furlongs 11 run
A fair bit of rain forecast and that could change the dynamic of the race considerably.
A couple of these look very well handicapped.
ZAP from the Fahey yard is around a stone below a winning mark. Fahey has had a few winners but thrown a lot of horses in to races where they look like the run will benefit them. This one would have been of greater interest earlier in the week on Good to Firm but in my eyes the rain won't help at all.
MUNTADAB is another on a very nice mark, has the benefit of 2 AW runs before lockdown and has run well a few times off similar breaks. Course and Distance form and the rain won't be a negative, probably a good 1/2 point Tracker bet under these conditions.
The one I really like though is stable mate PRESIDENTIAL, Trainer in decent early form as we know from his 22/1 winner on the first day of resumption, (crazy to think that was less than 2 weeks ago given number of meetings we've had and how well the behind closed doors has worked). A Course and Distance winner, runs well fresh and off a very nice mark and one whose best runs have tended to be on Good to Soft or Soft Going.
