Cheltenham 3.45

Cheltenham 3.45 - Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles (13 run)
The Going and race fitness will be vital although there is one I fancy who has decent "first time out" form over Course and Distance.
Gunfleet is favourite and the Yard has again made a quick start, but I'm not at all convinced about the horse in likely deteriorating Going so will take it on.
SUNSET SHOWDOWN has the advantage of being race fit, has won of soft and has a decent handicap mark and if good enough has no real excuses. Doesn't have the profile of a winter Cheltenham horse but may just be able to "nick this" with benefit of that race sharpness.
If it's to go to one n seasonal debut then I think it will be SYKES who seems to have been around forever, but runner up on return at this Meeting last season, and has winning form on Heavy at Ffos Llas where "heavy" is something like a wet peat bog, so if forward like last year fitness wise has to have a good e/w chance.
