Beverley - Thursday 27th August

By National Hunt UK (Robin T)

BEVERLEY 2.30

Brief Analysis-:

Beverley 2.30 - 7 1/2 furlongs and up this steep hill really looking for solid 1 mile form. Going is soft and that can mitigate a low draw bias.

The one who ticks most boxes, trip, mark, form, Going is Roger Fell's PRESIDENTIAL and I think it can give us a good each way run for our money.

Harrison Point is a strong favourite and O'Meara throws several arrows.

TRACKER - Presidential - 1/2 point each way

BEVERLEY 3.00

Brief Analysis -:

Beverley 3.00. Class5 , 5 furlongs - 17 run

A real conundrum and I narrowed down to 4 all drawn in the middle which may be best place as not to be trapped on the rail or too wide.

Mushaarif would be a very strong pick but for lack of really compelling soft ground form, one I fear a lot. Dapper Man is another if turning up after a better run yesterday.

I'll have 1/2 point each way though on BALANCING ACT who could be a progressive younger horse, a nice handicap mark and seems most at home on Soft Going. GAMESOME is somewhat more exposed and definitely more experienced, has a nice handicap mark, happy on soft Going and nice market value with enhanced place Odds.

TRACKER - Gamesome +  Balancing Act - both 1/2 point each way
