Ascot 4.50
By National Hunt UK (Robin T)
Hexham 4.40 Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 7 and 1/2 furlongs - 14 run - Going Good (early rain expected before drier weather)
With the Going possibly going on the soft side of Good to Soft I think the top pair here; Norley and Abington Park are opposable, although obvious dangers.
Rivabidova was geneally disappointing last season but has some Course form and will like cut in the ground more than most but I think a watching brief off a 150 day break.
Golden Chancer is a Distance winner, but a niggle about too much rain and the trip just puts me off but a horse I think can be tracked as certainly capable of picking up a small race before real winter ground arrives.
The pair I like most against the field are ON WE GO who will be fine at the trip, one of the most suited to softer Going on known form in the race; a nice Handicap mark and fit and ready to go. The other one is GEONICE who looks a progressive type for John Quinn and the prolific Brian Hughes and who is an unexposed type who could rise up you'd think into a slightly better horse in time than most of these.
TIP - GEONICE / Tracker - On We Go
