Tipperary 7.50

By Irish Racing (Sean aka Placespotter)

SEAN - TIPPERARY 7.50 - Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles - Yielding - possibly Soft by the start. - 17 run (3 reserves)

This is possibly going to be one of those races that will throw up a lot of future winners. I don't see any Cheltenham winner in here; but a whole host who will pay their way round the Irish provinces and who may find their way over to the UK at some point too.

I'm going to add Roccorionnach, Ocojohn, Chief Seattle to my Tracker as all could benefit from a step up to this kind of trip and on another day in a less deep race than this any could easily have been tipped.

I'm also going to Track LIghtning Star; Tipperary Dexter, Killinure Lass, Whatstoppingyou and Hoganville and indicate that they may all be best on Good summer ground and again, if it was Good (as opposed to Yielding to Soft) here, they may well have been tipped. Third Reserve For The Cause is already in my tracker, so we'll wait for that one to get a run in the near future.

At the head of the market Bearwithmenow is upped 7lbs and justifiably so and that just puts me off, I think that in a race of this type with so many possible inprovers that Added Bonus looks pretty exposed off the mark it's on so not great value and Alfieri is not proven at this trip so also looks a bit short in the market to me.

With 17 runners and the reserves I'll play the enhanced places with 2 main tips and a couple with some shrapnel.

TOWNHILL PENNY is a 3 mile P2P winner who finally gets upped in trip to that distance by Gordon Elliott, there has been slower than probably expected progression with this one but it may only now be physically strengthening up and its best Rules run was at 2 miles 5 and a half furlongs upped in trip last time and i think thet 3 miles round here should see a further improvement in form. LILY LIGHTFOOT from the Harty stable has been a runner up at 3 miles, placed over 2 miles 6 furlongs and seems to handle any underfoot conditions. It looks a very solid each way type to enhanced places.

ROSY STORY has 3 miles P2P form also, its best Rules run was at this trip last time out and it looks to be really coming to hand and progressing. ROSE MAHLER too is slowly coming to hand and impressed when 3rd at Wexford off a mark of 89 last time, its only a 5 year old and it's best is surely yet to come.

IF any of those were non-runners, and they are listed in order of confidence, then of the ones I'm suggesting you put in the Trackers , then Chief Seattle would just get the nod over Ocojohn.

Now I'm off to get all of these Tracked....good luck tonight

TRACKER - Townhill Penny + Lily Lightfoot / Shrapnel - Rosy Story + Rose Mahler .
