Tipperary - Sunday 3rd October

 

A fair bit of rain about and although a summer jumping venue it can get very testing here and a true test even though when conditions are better it's one of the easiest flat fast tracks.

 

A couple off moderate breaks, Lord Lariat who has Course and Distance form off a hurdle mark of 98, who has been Chasing and runs off a break of 85 days and Not So Simple for Norman Lee and Gavin Brouder who gets the 7lbs Claim, to take it below it's win mark are big dangers and of the pair I just prefer NOT SO SIMPLE.

 

China Princess can win races and steps up in trip but these may not be ideal conditions to try that and Rose Milan has 3 mile P2P form in the ground and this may be it's best opportunity under Rules so far so may be one to watch and track forwards if showing some improvement.

 

My idea of the tip though is ARCTIC LIGHT who will relish the trip, the going, is race fit and runs off a nice Hurdles mark for Thomas Mullins and Mark Walsh

The hot favourite and probably going to go off odds on is Glenquin Castle who kind of frames that market.

 

Daisys Hollow won this last year, off a nie mark but rain and softening ground are against a repeat. Shes Made It comes off a 123 day break and is lightly raced and definitely one to track forwards if showing aptitude on its return, Time And Times is a danger too placed on last 5 runs but another who will not relish too much rain and Walking The Walk for the Cromwell Yard is a 3 mile P2P winner who surely has potential but has been so far very lightly raced and patiently treated, another to track onwards as a result.

 

My Tip though is LAUGHING TRIX who I think represents good each way value in context of the race, OK on soft and heavier Going, solid form profile winning off 81 and placing off a mark of 86 and runs off 84 here with a 7lbs claim.
