Sean - Naas 4.50 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 3 furlongs - 20 run - Good to Yielding
At the top of the market we have 3-4 horses tightly bunched and although they all have obvious chances I can't see much value in Kashi (who is clearly the one they all have to beat), Champ Royal or Gringo D'Ainay.
I do like BONNIE KELLIE a lot. A winner at 2 miles it was travelling well and upsides when tipping up the last time it tried this trip, with confidence restored over shorter trips, they go up in trip once again and I'll be disappointed if it doesn't go very close here with luck in running.
The Grey Lad has shown glimmers of form and makes handicap debut here and I will add him today to the Tracker to monitor onwards, he joins in there West Is Awake, who has so far disappointed me but who could click at any time and LILY OF DROMARD who popped up at 20/1 as a Tracker a few weeks back off 87, struggled off a 10lbs penalty next time but they were both over 2 miles and I do think this ex 3 mile P2P horse can be more competitive off this mark on this stiff track over further. It's a horse that will win us plenty in the next few years and may have some decent e/w chance today too.
Sargent Lightfoot may just need the run off 116 days but if fit enough has been consistent enough to take a hand and another off a break that I do really fancy is CARNET DE STAGE. Carnet De Stage is off a break of 84 days but has win and place form off a mark of 95, should be very competitive here off a mark of 96 and if freshened up and fit to go could run very well at very nice e/w odds to enhanced places.
TIP - Bonnie Kellie / Trackers Lily of Dromard / Shrapnel - Carnet de Stage
