Roscommon 7.15

By Irish Racing (Sean aka Placespotter)

Roscommon 7.15 Handicap - 1m 4f - (15 run - with 3 reserves) Going Good (rain forecast)

The key here will be the Going and a deluge could happen based on some forecasts or just heavy showers based on others.

I want to take on the top of the market, a few who may be in grip of handicapper and others who don't frankly like to get their feet too wet or muddy.

El Tren is one to be fearful of despite being off a 300 day break, can run well fresh and rain would be a positive for that one. Zoffalee is another who is very well handicapped, 5th at The Curragh in a 15k race has won on Yielding and if its no softer than Yielding to soft at race time, I would recommend a small each way investment.

CALL ME DOLLY was very unlucky in running at Galway Festival, Gavin Cromwell and Chris Hayes will be looking for just a bit more luck in running here and with it, I think a very strong chance provided its not heavy Going.

Dragons Pass at big Odds is intriguing as has run well before here over further but bang in contention to this point on heavy Going but at the bigger prices its LIARS CORNER who I prefer of those pair. A Course and Distance winner in heavy off 52. Needed 2 runs so far, should be approaching full fitness now, was runner up after that CD win off an increased mark of 62, so today's mark of 64 with that proven Course form bodes well. Will need Soft at least in the Going description ideally.

TIP - CALL ME DOLLY - 1 point each way / Tracker Liars Corner - 1/2 point each way (Zoffalee also worth a Tracker tip IF no softer than soft)
