Roscommon 7.10 - Handicap Chase - 3 miles 1/2 furlong - 16 Run Good to Firm
A race where the numbers may hide a soft underbelly and some value in the top half of the market.
I can't look past WARREEDY who absolutely hosed up here last season in this race off a mark of 71. It went on to finish 1st twice more and a runner up rising to a Chase mark of 86. After a break it had 2 quiet runs, the last over Hurdles but comes back Chasing off a mark of 88 and looked sure to be competitive again.
One who could outrun Odds is ISLAND MASTER who after a quiet return steps back up to 3 miles, it has enough early P2P and Rules form to suggest that if ridden sensibly 3 miles round here may actually be the perfect trip now.
