Naas 2.20

By Irish Racing (Sean aka Placespotter)

NAAS 2.20 Handicap - 10 furlongs - 16 run (3 reserves should ensure odds to at least 4th place)

The market is led by Baby Zeus and Lord Park, both a progressive looking 3 year olds who have shown signs that they won't be inconvenienced by soft Going, although I suspect this may be more on the gluey/sticky side of soft.

Of the younger horses and at slightly better odds I'm more interested in Joseph O'Briens MR MOOJ who looks progressive, stamina looks assured and although not encountered this type of Going yet, if they have any concerns, probably they would take him out, so in that respect a "no risk" bet and Going no excuse.

Akhlaaq; Bring Us Paradise and Lafayette are all of interest but I'm not over confident on stamina and Going considerations for any of them so will pass them over for today. Simply True is a Course and Distance winner who has won on soft and heavy but I am concerned about the inflated handicap mark, but he would be biggest danger to the Tip and Trackers and if there is a non runner amongst the selections would be a late tracker tip.

The Trackers in order of preference are TUDOR CITY who we noted in The Galway Hurdle and who will now be fully fit. Has good form at this trip including soft and heavy Going and looks very competitive on the Flat off and mark in the high 70's and low 80's and the mark of 81 today looks perfect for a big run in these conditions. Another horse, very much in the veteran stage is 11 year old TANDEM and that one is ideally placed over 12 furlongs and soft to heavy Going but in these conditions with a few in uncharted distance and Going waters could run on in to a place and has plenty of 10 furlong form in its younger days.

TIP - MR MOOJ - TRACKERS - Tudor City + Tandem
