Listowel 3.50

SEAN - Listowel 3.50 Handicap Chase - 2 miles 4 furlongs - Yielding / Soft - 17 run
Dancing Jeremy and Cave Court head the market but I don't think they represent great value. Leish Oscars Son, Pepperocco, A Mere Bagatelle and Midnight it Is all have form chances but don't really jump off the page as good value in a competitive heat. If there is one who is a mystery it is I Am Rocco who started with Henderson, moved to Mullins and has not quite shown the form such leading stables would have anticipated. It's a horse who will surely find a level and with confidence of finding that level may win races and at the price worth a £1 e/w side stake.
I am most keen on REBEL WALTZ for whom this intermediate trip may be ideal and who arrives on a nice handicap mark and a nice e/w price and CAHIRDOWN BOY who looks overpriced early when you look at a couple of runner up efforts before a short break and who looked to be running in to full fitness and form last time out.
At bigger shrapnel type odds I like the look of NEPTUNUS EQUESTER who is a few pounds out of the handicap carrying 10 stones but who will be running close to its last winning mark with the Claimer up and who could love running round here with such a featherweight and who is another who should now be fully race fit!
Tips (1) Rebel Waltz / (2) Cahirdown Boy / (3s) Neptunus Equester
