Kilbeggan 5.12

SEAN - Kilbeggan 5.12 Handicap Hurdle - Division 1 - 3 mile 1/2 furlong - 16 run - Good

 

At the top of the market we have Second Subaltern who is upped a mile in trip although it has run over 1/2 mile less on Flat. Cathy's Quest is upped 1/2 mile so has stamina to prove and TANGO THEATRE who was tipped when unlucky to be Bought Down last time out and who was an impressive 3rd over Course and Distance on the run prior to that really does stand out.

 

Native Song makes handicap debut also upped in trip and could be anything, He Fitz In is one to keep an eye on as it has Course and Distance winning form ff a mark of 86, was upped a stone after that and is slowly working its way back to a more realistic mark and off 93 here could be coming back in to range . We'll TRACK it from today. Western Dreaming has winning form at 2 furlongs less off this mark and will be a danger if getting the fractions right. 

 

We have Chief Seattle, Tango Theatre , ASK DEE and MINE ME WILL HE in the Tracker and having already tipped Tango Theatre it's hard not to totally rule out ASK DEE and MINE ME WILL HE but there are a couple at bigger odds who really caught my eye (Most of our TRacker enthusiasts have £1 e/w on the bigger priced NH Trackers so that may be worth an interest for others)

 

At big Odds though I do think that CROI CORCRA a 3 mile P2P winner, amateur ridden when running OK for a long way over course and distance on penultimate run but professional ride up tonight off a mark of 87 could be a really dark horse here and DEO BELLATOR who had an out of the blue Course and Distance win off 86 last season and whose runs since including 4 this season have been over shorter, could both be about to outrun their Odds considerably. 

 

ASK DEE @ 22/1 by the way has course and distance winning form at 80/1 but was subsequently disqualified after a positive drug test so again a £1 e/w might be a nice side bet!
