Kilbeggan 3.20

By Irish Racing (Sean aka Placespotter)

SEAN - Ireland - Kilbeggan 3.20 Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles 1/2 furlong - 16 run (with reserves available) - Going Good (some showers)

This isn't a particularly deep or competitive race on a quirky tight right handed Course where the inner Hurdles track is tough to handle.

At the head of the market are Silverstrand, Porky Rush and Whatstoppingyou and I wouldn't be rushing to invest in any of them at their current Odds, with enhanced places boosted by a few reserves, it a race to look for some each way value.

The booking of JJ Slevin caught my eye on Killinure Lass and its shown a few glimmers of form and does come from a 3 mile P2P background. Early 14/1 looks about right and it should be aiming to run an enhanced place you'd think Rosy Story who has a tongue tie and cheekpieces is another who may benefit from a step up in trip as it has some 3 miles P2P also and the various aids may help. I wouldn't be surprised if they both finish in the top 6.

The pair that really caught my eye though are I DON'T GET IT, most of whose most impressive runs have been at this trip whilst its frustratingly been run too often at shorter in my opinion, and RUDY CATRAIL who has a Course and Distance win a couple of years ago off a mark of 94, placed off 93 and who may have regressed from a mark ober 100 to the current mark of 90, but who may enjoy the return here and well worth a close look at big odds.

TRACKER - I DON'T GET IT / shrapnel - Rudy Catrail (if either non-runners then Rosy Story and Killinure (both 16/1) would be reserves in that order)
