A competitive race with some probable early pace from the inside Stalls and a few of the more fancied will need luck in running draw out wider.

 

At the head of the market both French Company (drawn 19) and Out On A Friday (drawn 13) will be genuine dangers but will need plenty of luck in running.

 

The draw also puts me off Lily of The Glen who ran well here last time, Complete Fiction is a big danger drawn in 9 but has a tendency to miss the break and could find itself behind a wall of horses early on.

 

At big odds I can see ODD VENTURE trying to make all from Stall 3, it's a decent low grade dual purpose horse and has won over 10 furlongs. If they get the fractions right and there is trouble in behind I can see it staying on in to an enhanced place despite being swamped late on and at 33/1 + worth one of those crafty £1 e/w or win/place bets. Similar in profile is Matilda With Me who may just need a bit further and to come below a mark of 60 but one to track onwards.

 

The 3 I most like are BARRETSTOWN who is very consistent, runner up a number of times off marks between 60 and 62, drawn 10 and deserves a win. PRIDE OF PIMLICO is drawn in Stall 2, signs of returning to some decent form last time and off a nice mark of 52, it really has no excuses and ticks every box. SPIRITUOSO of those drawn a bit higher looks the most likely to come from the back here, its got solid Course and Distance form off this mark and another who looks due a win.
