A competitive field and more than a few who could step up and make a bold bid at nice each way Odds.

 

Sizing Malboy has some decent Course form and could be a danger but recent form suggests may be not in great nick at the moment and Sanibel Island is another who has shown enough to suggest a small race is within its scope and this intermediate trip may be ideal based on running styles over slightly shorter and longer trips.

 

I think that Rock On Barney needs the handicapper to relent a bit more but having changed stables is definitely one to track once the mark drops below 100 and in to the low 90's, he's one I will follow with interest.

 

WAKE UP EARLY comes off a 106 day break but has won and run well off similar and longer breaks. A Course and Distance winner off a nice mark I can't find any reason why he won't go very close here today.

 

A bit more speculative is the relative veteran GARRAI PHALDIN who was an excellent third a few runs ago over Course and Distance losing a race won by Doldido. That's pretty solid form in the context of this race and a repeat of it would see it bang in contention.
