Galway 2.30

By Irish Racing (Sean aka Placespotter)

SEAN - Galways 2.30 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 7 furlongs - 20 run - Good to Yielding

The obvious pair head the market and are La Prima Donna and Ilikethewayurthinkin, the latter has to prove fitness after finishing lame last time. I WILL have a small reverse forecast to cover those pair off.

Digby and  Blackstar Rocco are progressive types who have each way chances.

I focussed on 4 horses after long deliberations about every one.

I can't get away from the fact that STREETS OF DOYEN is very well handicapped on a return to Hurdles. It won at this meeting over fences last year, has won at the trip over Hurdles and the mark of 137 is very tempting.

I narrowly prefer it to PERFECT ATTITUDE who comes off a break for Gordon Elliott and looks sure to run its race if tuned up, and stablemate MARS HARPER also comes off a break for Elliott and could be on a very tempting mark if they are serious about a tilt at this and have him tuned up.

The one I like most though is THE LITTLE YANK who is back up in trip and may well benefit from it and I'll be disappointed if this one isn't giving the short priced market leaders most to do in the closing stages.

TIP - The Little Yank / Tracker - Perfect Attitude and Streets Of Doyen / shrapnel - Mars Harper
