MICHAEL - York 4.10 Handicap - Class 2 - 6 furlongs - 20 run - Good to Firm / Good - rain about
There are three Sprinting legends in this race and it's hard to look past Summerghand and Aberhama Gold, Summerghand is drawn in Stall 20 though and that may be a bit of a negative and Abehama Gold, who we tipped to its first win since changing stables but missed last time is hiked again in the weights. The third of the trip is MR WAGYU who has run consistently as always but not yet delivered in 2023 but from a berth in Stall 10 and on the allegedly best bit of turf and off an appealing handicap mark really does deserve a win and we'll punt accordingly.
Gale Force Maya looks primed too but any deterioration in Going would be a negative for me, Ozario has a sporting e/w chance without quite enticing me in. The same thoughts apply to Albasheer and a number of the rest but at bigger prices I will have a small shrapnel e/w on EHRAZ dropped in to a handicap by Hannon who runs 4 here and enlists Ryan Moore. This horse could be very well handicapped in hindsight.
The other pair that stand out for solid each way support in a 20 runner field are LETHAL LEVI who deserves a win, gets a nice berth next to MR WAGYU and who has no excuses off this mark or in any conditions and SIGNIFICANTLY who is ground variable and who may get a lovely tow off Summerghand and who just looks way over-priced to me IF it rains.
