Southwell 3.20 Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles (13 declared)
A moderate bunch but the potential of FAWSLEY SPIRIT shone through a few times last season and I have been waiting for them to try this trip especially on a flat easy left handed Track like this. Ben Pauling knows the time of day with this type and I expect a place at least as the horse has a fitness advantage over some with a pleasing seasonal debut last time.
Right at the bottom of the market there is certainly e/w Tracker value in Dubh Des Champs who both needed the run and could have done without getting loose before seasonal debut last week and return of cheek-pieces is significant and also Moorlands Mist, seemingly out of form but getting very close to a mark off which it won twice this time last season at big Odds. The sort that could run them off their feet from the front round here if getting in to a nice rhythm up front. Wins off 98 and 104 and back t a mark of 94 so odds look way too high.
TIP - FAWSLEY SPIRIT (Tracker Dubh Des Champs @ 25/1 / Moorlands Mist @ 50/1 = use enhanced to 4th Bookies noted above)
In the 1.40 race Torrent Des Mottes @ 14/1 is well worth a small Tracker bet, A Distance winner off a mark of 84, Corse form off similar marks and better suited by this Good Going than last time and should give us a good run for our money at nice Odds.
