I think Gondor may be better at shorter distances and Early Arrival is better over hurdles so far, I've also stamina concerns about Agirlcalledchloe and Chainofconsequence although both  have scope to improve. Rudy Catrail has form at 2 miles 5 furlongs but has had tired falls late on on a couple of occasions over this sort of trip. Kingston Kid is another who has shown more consistent form over hurdles so far.

 

I'm really keen on SHANTOU SISU who ticks, form, going , trip and handicap mark boxes so has no excuses. For some shrapnel each way I think that both O MIO BABBINO and PUNTERS POET are well worth a small investment and don't rule out Napoleon Blue who is very lightly raced but who has placed off longer gaps.
