MICHAEL - AYR
1.40 Is a low Grade Class 6 mile race but in the prevailing conditions a couple at nice each way Odds look well worth a small investment when you look deeper in to their form.
EAGLES ROCK is a rare Lucing Russell Flat horse purchased from Ireland. It's not really fired here yet but has some decent soft and yielding Ground Irish form and could now be off a nice competitive Handicap mark here. A mile could be the ideal trip and worth a small e/w investment.
CHINESE SPIRIT had a nice run here last October over Course and Distance in similar conditions off a mark of 61. Has won since and yet still only off a mark of 50. The soft Going clearly suits and may be well handicapped and ready to fire again.

3.40 another Class 6 race over 1 mile and 5 furlongs and a trio of in form horses at the top of the market who can't be ignored but may now be in grip of the handicapper and not necessarily good value.
One that stands out in these conditions at a nice price is AUXILIARY. It won a Class 4 off a mark of 67 at York last season. Has taken time to come back to a reasonable handicap mark as a result and also not always had ideal soft conditions, but better runs have been in soft and prior to that win some nice placed runs in soft off marks around 65.A mark of 63 with Jason Hart in the saddle, again, well worth a small e/w punt. Stablemate Framley Garth and Peerless Percy, another who likes cut but not fully proven at the trip could also run well at a price.
