You could take the top 6 out of the market and Perm them all day as their form over course and distance and in recent seasons is incredible. The likes of Raising Sand, Kynren; Ripp Orf; Summerghand and So Beloved. If you throw in the likes of Casanova, Bedouins Story and Battered it is an almost impossible puzzle to solve.
The one I kept coming back to though at a very nice price is the David O'Meara trained ESCOBAR who has got in here under the radar, a fast run 7 furlongs on soft to heavy going though should see something with proven stamina arriving late and my selection was 2nd of 20 here in later October last season over a mile off a mark of 102 and off 105 here could do some serious damage as the old favourites and protagonists better suited to 7 furlongs could just set the race up for something coming late.
If you want one at an even bigger price with more stamina the drop of 10 furlongs to 7 furlongs by Greenside is even more intriguing and may be worth a smaller side stake.
