Yarmouth 2.55
By Flat Turf UK (The Advisor)
THE ADVISOR - Yarmouth 2.55 Handicap - Class 6 - 16 run - 1 mile 3 and 1/2 furlongs - Soft
There aren't too many in here proven at the trip and in the underfoot conditions.
At the top of the market it's hard to get away from PURPLE REIGN for Ed Dunlop and Neil Callan who is ideally suited to the trip, likes soft Going and is on a decent mark and I'll 100% recommend a win saver at anything around 3/1 on that one.
Fillyfudge for Amy Murphy showed promise at shorter here last time on handicap debut and will be a danger IF getting the trip. Jackamundo deserves a win as it's largely consistent, it's on a nice mark but I think better at 10 furlongs. JUNOESQUE is likely to make the running and could steal this from the front if they aren't wise to it. It's a Brighton specialist but has won elsewhere and certainly worth a small e/w investment.
Astronomic makes handicap debut upped in trip and has stamina in its pedigree and could be anything in that regard and one I fear the most that I've not tipped. It's How We Roll has won twice this season, ran yesterday so may not start again here today. Catch My Breath has got form at this trip on AW but not yet on turf and may be best watched. Bristol Missile is another who has decent 10 furlong form and could be a danger if staying the trip but that pace angle of JUNOESQUE may just stretch a lot of these.
Morani Kali is not without a chance and Bad Attitude for Christine Dunnett and Agent Of Fortune who steps up in trip would not be without a sporting chance at big odds.
The one I really think has been overlooked though is DAS KAPITAL. It's got a habit of starting slowly but if it can tag on to the back of the field on the rail it can make late ground here and with any luck in running has a nice mark and handles the conditions and has some proven stamina on the Flat and over Hurdles. It was poor last time but Trainer said it hated the track at Thirsk but on the prior run at Ffos Llas it looks very well handicapped.
PURPLE REIGN (win) / Das Kapital (Tracker e/w) / Junoesque (shrapnel e/w) - looks like a nice T/Cast Perm too
