A fair bit of unknown here in terms of the trip and form on Turf and I whittled it down to 5 of most interest.

 

Bollin Joan is the one they all have to beat but i've a niggle about the trip may be the best option with her is a "win double with Menelaus in the above race".

 

The Resdev Way will probably need further than this on Good to Firm. The one that does tick all the right boxes is JAMIH who won off 47 on its 3rd run last year and this is the 3rd run this season, it also won off a mark of 54 and no issue with Good to Firm, it looks ready to win again off a mark of 56 drawn in Stall 5.

 

Of the remainder very little to enthuse over but one in particular caught my eye at bigger odds and one intrigues me enough for some shrapnel.Ruth Carr is in decent form and her SEVEN FOR  A POUND had a win and a place off marks of 45 and 46 on Good to Firm last year, conditions suit and the horse could nick a place at nice odds. The intriguing one is the least fancied in the market HER WAY. This horse showed promise in 2021 for Roger Charlton and has seemingly lost its way. It did win though twice on Good to Firm at 10 furlongs in 2021 off marks of 54 and 60, and back with its hooves rattling off a mark of 53 could have a better chance than recent form suggests. It runs to me a bit like it has a wind problem (has had a couple of wind op's) but these conditions should be more comfortable for it and I'm happy to have a small very speculative punt.
