An intriguing race based on strong form lines from a number of races including the 1000 Guineas, the Cheshire Oaks and perhaps this year the most striking the Lingfield Oaks Trial.

I'm looking really for proven stamina, some scope to progress and indications that the horse can handle this very unique Track. In that regard Lingfield, with a steep left hand descent in to the Straight was historically a significant Trial, since the AW track was built there though over 30 years ago now, and the Turf Track less used, it's significance has waned but we have the first 4 home in the 2021 Trail reopposing and it looks solid form.

From the Cheshire Oaks come the 1-2 in Zeyaadah and Dubai Fountain, whose form looks solid and from the 1000 Guineas come Saffron Beach and Santa Barbara, about whom I  have significant stamina concerns.

SNOWFALL was very impressive at York in the Musiodra and is my idea of the winner and will be an each way tip

If there is a dark horse in the race it's Teona, she was unsettled and fractious in the Stalls last time but if settling could have yet to show here best form, and may be one to have an investment in after the preliminaries and after she leaves the Stall if she is settled and gets away on level terms.

Looking at the Lingfield Trail though, Sherbert Lemon won on what was its 3rd seasonal run, beating Save A Forest who may have a bit more scope but who was having its 4th seasonal run, so both of those were really race fit. In third was OCEAN ROAD who was very impressive on seasonal debut and in 4th was the O'Brien trained Divinely also on seasonal debut who could also improve. I see OCEAN ROAD and Divinely turning form round with Save A Forest and Sherbert Lemon and of those from that race finishing in that order today.

I fear the pair from the Cheshire Oaks (Dubai Fountain and Zeyaadah more than I do Saffron Beach and Santa Barbara from the 1000 Guineas, but the best piece of form to my eyes came from the Musidora winner SNOWFALL with Frankie up in the saddle for O'Brien.

TIP - SNOWFALL / TRACKER Ocean Road (have a look at TEONA early in running)
