THE ADVISOR - Hamilton 4.00 Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile 4 furlongs - 10 run - Good to Soft
A trappy little race and the favourite is Cian Jock for Jim Goldie, its got excellent Course and Distance form, will be the one to beat but off the increased handicap mark I don't think 2/1 is great value .
Lochnaver is another from Goldie's yard and runs very prominent and freely and although likely to set sail and make them all go, I do think its always vulnerable to a stayer or one ridden with more restraint up this tough climb. It can and could make all but at the price I'll be happy to wager against it.
Haven Lady for John Quinn won on the AW last time out off a mark of 56 and it has a course win here at a furlong further off that same mark so should be very competitive. With only 10 runners though I only want one main tip and on the basis of some collateral form I prefer RALPHY BOY TWO who has a 3lbs pull with Haven Lady for a recent 4 lengths win when it won over Course and Distance off a mark of 54. It completely missed the start last time so can be excused for that run and provided it breaks better this time the mark of 56 looks very enticing.
At bigger Odds, I'll have some shrapnel on the veteran MILLIE THE MINX, a few signs that it is running well and in to some form and now off a basement mark of 47 it could have found a mark and a race it can place off at very nice Odds.
