Sandown 4.12

THE ADVISOR - Sandown 4.12 Handicap - Class 3 - 13 run - 5 furlongs - Going Good (some flash floods in the area midweek so we'd think "Good" is accurate)

 

Plenty in with chances but a Low Draw is usually an advantage here.

 

Edward Cornelius has solid 3 year old form and as we've pointed our Keith Dalgleish is targeting the series, Glamourous Breeze is drawn low and in Good form but may just now be in the grip of the handicapper. Treacherous showed signs of returning to form last time and could run better from stall 8, Mokaatil has some Course form, gets a berth in stall 5 but can miss the break and that would be a big negative here. Be Proud won this race last year but gets a wide berth this time.

 

I'm clearly looking at Lord Riddiford, Devils Angel and Silky Wikie on form and from their draws and will have a Tricast Perm and some small reverse F/Cast perms to cover those off but I fancy a pair at bigger odds for shrapnel stake e/w singles.

 

RECON MISSION is a Course and Distance winner off 78, it can make the break and run prominently and from Stall 7 I think could have them all at it, if there is any scrummaging in behind he's the type to make all at a nice price. THE THIN BLUE LINE was running well until its last run which almost certainly came too soon. Its on a nice mark, drawn low and overlooked by the market and this may be a canny bit of raceplacement
