The form pair are Bashhosh unbeaten in 2 runs as a 2 year old, lightly raced, now a 4 year old who has been gelded and Chasing Aphrodite who has won both races with RPR ratings of 84 and 93 and makes a handicap debut off 92 which may prove to be generous.

 

Dutch Decoy for the Johnston yard may just be in the grip of the handicapper, Bell Rock who has won on the Rowle Mile could be a danger off this mark, and at bigger odds I wouldn't discount Coase who has also won on the Rowley Mile earlier in the  season but did so carrying some fitness from the AW and also PISTOLETTO who may be cannily placed by its Trainer as it usually now runs over further but who has run very prominently before over a mile and off a mark gets a draw on the Stands Rail and could be worth £1 each way to get them all working in the closing stages.

 

The pair I most like though are POWER OF DARKNESS who is a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 90 last year, ran well on seasonal debut back here off 92 before disappointing at Ascot but having won this last year looks sure to make another bold effort tonight. ENIGMATIC could also be running in to form and off a nice mark now, James Doyle gets the ride and it'll be disappointing if we aren't picking up some place money at the very least.
