At the head of the market a lot of attention will focus on Roger Charltons unbeaten QUADRILATERAL who reopposes Love from the O'Brien yard from the Fillies mile here last year.  I can't see any reason to doubt that was solid form, can't see that the result today will be any different either. Any reversal may just be down to which Trainer has their horse cherry fit on the day. If I wanted a "win saver" on the race it would be QUADRILATERAL.

Also in that race was Boomer from the Dascombe yard with Richard Kingscote in the saddle, it has about 1/2 a stone to find on form but may have a little more scope to come and at the Odds it would be a decent each way punt, BUT, it may be that the form lines of those in behind that day are not as strong as some less exposed types.

I want some value and would rather have a couple of "Trackers" 1/2 point each way at bigger odds in this race and will side with a couple that look better market value.

SHIMMERING from the John Gosden yard could be "anything". A runner in 2 AW races and a nice winner of it's last run where it handled the trip perfectly and looked very impressive in the context of the race. Gosden will have had a number of options for this race, is a master of picking the "right one at the right time" and worth taking an early price as the Gosden / Dettori combi can be backed off a cliff.

ROSE OF KILDER is a classic Mark Johnston horse. Even his 2 year olds are raced to get and stay fit and as a result get a lot of early experience. They can be discounted as "lacking scope" for that reason but the exceptional circumstances of 2020 means that the horse arrives here with 2-3 months more preparation time and is likely to be as fit as anything in the race. The form to date is all at 6-7 furlongs but a good look at the horses pedigree suggests stamina will be no issue and the horse ay find more for the trip being out of a 10 Furlong Sire and the Dams Sire was also a 10 furlong horse with the Dam being a speedier mile horse.

It's all about the form on the day and fillies can improve or decline very quickly, history shows that Gosden and Johnston usually perm the right horse on the right day from the multiple options they have.

If you want a 1 point win bet to cover your e/w bets it's QUADRILATERAL.

The suggested bets are-:

1/2 point each way on SHIMMERING and ROSE OF KILDER.
