THE ADVISOR has tips and analysis in 2 decent grade competitive Handicaps.
Newmarket 4.25 - A competitive Class 2 race over 7 furlongs with 13 runners and a short list of 5 to work from. Kimifive has an obvious chance but on balance of known form does not look particularly well handicapped and this race is very tight and every pound will count. Love Dreams is a Course and Distance winner who will surely try to race prominently, not quite sure it is as good as was though and may be time for slightly calmer waters and a few more pounds respite from the Handicapper. MAKZEEM is very lightly raced in past 2 seasons and should come on for reappearance run but another I don't think is particularly well handicapped.
ULTIMATE AVENUE has been kept to AW but best 2 turf RPR's have been on this July Course and looks well handicapped on that basis, only the lack of a recent turf run puts me off a full blown tip, but is in Tracker and worth a small investment. My tip though is the very consistent PRESIDENTIAL who runs off a nice handicap mark, has decent form over on the Rowley Mile and looks to tick every box at a nice each way price. Newmarket 5.00 - This is a Class 4 Handicap over a mile and the 15 strong field, I quickly narrowed down to 4, as some of these have little recent decent form. BALGAIR won this race last year but is up 11lbs in the Handicap since then, one I want to keep an eye on but probably after today. Indian Viceroy has some good Course form and is a live danger and COLONEL FRANK is in the Tracker and worth a small investment based on the fact it is back well below a win mark of 82 and the Yard do like a good punt at these type of meetings. The selection though is MEDIEVAL who has some very solid form in this grade, rarely runs a bad race and looks to have been well placed here to gain a deserved and overdue win.
