An amateur Riders Handicap over 1 mile and 4 furlongs and the expectation that the good to soft Going is only going to get softer if anything and not dry out too much.
A fair few have become "standing dishes" in this type of race and if there is a win saver to be had it's definitely GAS MONKEY a Course and Distance winner when winning this in 2019 with form on soft, a 1 point win bet covers a pair of nicely placed Tracker 1/2 point each way bets.
Blue Medici is a big danger 3 wins from 5 runs with this jockey but all of the best turf form is on Good or Good to Firm and I fancy a pair at bigger odds to be more suited by conditions.
NABHAN has form at the trip on the Flat and over 2 miles over Hurdles on soft, so no concerns about stamina or ability to handle the Going. It's on its last winning Flat mark and a very decent each way shout. The same applies to HAWRIDGE FLYER who should be far more suited to conditions back on turf with cut and another who has the look of a well handicapped horse with ideal conditions in an open race.
