Lingfield 2.22
By Flat Turf UK (The Advisor)
Lingfield 2.22 - Handicap Hurdle, 2 miles 7 furlongs - Class 4 - 14 run - Good to Soft
Another competitive Handicap Hurdle and plenty have chances.
The O'Brien favourite could skittle these but lacks a run and yet to conclusively prove stamina. SANDY BOY is a rogue, travels well and will win plenty if it can be made to focus and concentrate, hung continually left going right handed last time, so logic of going left handed you'd think a "no brainer". The only problem with that is the horse previously hung right going left handed, so it my be they are simply trying anything/everything they can. If SANDY BOY behaves and runs straight and true he wins this, so may be a win saver if you want, but frankly less likely to run straight than it is to win!
Of the others, Le Grand Rocher has had a wind operation and I think one to track as a "work in progress". UrtheonethatIwant makes seasonal debut, a horse we like a lot, very progressive last season from 81>90>94>101 has won fresh in the past off 173 days but returns off 257 days and the mark of 109 is an unknown. March Is On from JonJo could be another ex Pointer to track and follow and the same applies to Carlow Farmer a 3 mile P2P winner who seems to prefer more winter type Going.
I will have a tracker bet though on a pair against the field looking for net profit from the race.
CERTAINLY RED has the same Trainer and Jockey combination as Good News yesterday, the horse has had a run, off a nice mark and the drop back below 3 miles could be inspired. KING COOL is rock hard race fit now, won at Fontwell off 92, ran well enough then off a mark of 101 to think it can cope and another for whom this trip looks ideal.
TRACKERS - Certainly Red + King Cool
