This is run on the less used Stand Side Sprint track and high drawn horses can do well when it turns Soft but the forecasts suggests it should be run on slighly softened good ot good to soft Going.

 

Its a quality field and I though 5 had worthy chances with Brad The Brief probaby the back-stop IF it turns really soft despite a higher mark, Minzaal is a very solid proposition and the one who'll take all the beating but I think that provided a low draw is not a negative that ART POWER who is drawn in Stall 1 and who has a propensity to just goo off a bit too quickly but whose recent run over 7 furlongs should have got it spot on for this can give a great lead and probably nick a place in the process to the benefit of KINROSS who is drawn in Stall 2 and who drops back to this trip.

 

The danger is a draw bias against the low numbers but I'm happy to go with the pace angles here and confident that with a level playing foeld we can have a couple in the places at least.

 

If you want a £1 e/w one at big odds then CHIL CHIL has the benefit of both being drawn high (to offset the draw bias) and also a strong run in this last year to finish 3rd. Andrew Balding may well have had this race in mind all season and Hayley Turner has back-form in this race and some!
