A fair bit of rain and probably it'll be Good to Soft or possibly a bit softer by the off time.
At the top of the market it's hard to ignore The Cola Kid for Grace Harris but I feel it's best a 6 furlongs and having win and place form off a mark of 47 here recently a mark of 53 asks it a few serious questions along with the stamina concerns. Ceilidh is a bit f a Brighton specialist and no real form IF it turns soft. Destiny Spirit has a 5 furlong win on heavy Going, bits of 6 furlong form so will be a danger but there have to be question marks at this new trip. Hersilia has been disappointing so far for Charlie Hills but the step up in trip is logical on pedigree and he is not lightly discounted and a genuine dark horse. The likes Clement Danes and Tilt At Windmills weren't lightly discounted each way
TRANQUILITY is the one though who really does jump off the page at me, it's best form is over Course and Distance when 3rd off a mark of 47, that was on Good Going and it's disappointed on Good to Firm over further and shorter since, I feel this trip is optimum and pedigree suggests Good to Soft would hold no fears. LADY GAZELLE caught the eye too and was 4th of 17 on recent handicap debut on the AW at Southwell, it has a 10 furlong pedigree and one I think we'll see better form from the further it goes.
At big Odds the 47 race maiden GONZAGA may seem a strange pick but it has a number of place finishes in that length cv, it often misses the break and runs on late past beaten horses, the long straight and rain here could see it fly past more than a few and I would not discount a nice enhanced place at big odds!.
Tips (1) Tranquility / (2) Lady Gazelle (3s) Gonzaga
