Doncaster 5.10
By Flat Turf UK (The Advisor)
THE ADVISOR - Doncaster 5.10 - 1 mile 2 furlongs - 20 run - Soft (significant rain)
An ability to handle the Going and proven stamina would appear to be vital commodities here.
At the top of the market is Musazeed who ticks all the right boxes but weight can be an anchor in the mud so if you want a win saver on the obvious form chance, please feel free.
Morning Sun is upped in trip for leading connections but has as yet not encountered conditions like these. Aldbourne has won its last 2 races in soft ground at the trip but is penalised a whopping 15lbs as a result.
Can Can Girl, What's The Wi-Fi Code and Samual Spade would have chances and would not be surprise winners but I narrowed my final selection down to four.
EBONY MAW is a genuine mud lover, gets the trip absolutely fine, runs off a nice mark and I really can't find any reasons not to invest in it today. THE FLYING GINGER hasn't yet shown its undoubted ability too often this season, has dropped to a very nice mark as a result and the Going and trip would be ideal if it can rediscover some spark.
I do like RED DEREK too and whilst that one is best at significantly further (12-14 furlongs) if they do go too fast up front and fall in to a heap I can see this one arriving in to a place very late on. Another who could stay on at very nice Odds is CARLOS FELIX another with some proven stamina off a nice mark.
