I always like some proven Course form here given the undulations and one that stands out off a nice mark is CHAMPAGNE HIGHLIFE for local Trainer John Flint

 

A bit like the tips up at York this one should come on significantly for a seasonal debut and a Course win last August off a mark of 51 over 5 furlongs looks a nice bit of form to work from. The step up to 1 mile should be well within scope being by a 1 mile specialist (Holy Roman Emporer) out of a 10 furlong dam and off a mark of 48 today, I'll be very disappointed if we're not placing at least. One to track and follow all season at Chepstow and possibly Ffos Llas over 7 furlongs to 9 furlongs especially around a handicap mark of 50 or lower.
