THE ADVISOR - Cartmel 4.01 Handicap Hurdle Class 4 - 3 miles 1 and 1/2 furlongs - 13 run
Classic Lady who is on a 3 timer and carrying a 7lbs penalty runs for Mark Walford but lacks Course experience, Strike Of lightning is upped in trip so has a degree of vulnerability, so I'll take those on. Jimmy Moffatt runs a cluster, Our Sam drops in grade but has never really delivered here, Native Fighter who is Charlotte Jones pick doesn't really impress me and may be regressive and of his I mostlike SHANTOU SUNSET who ran well for us in the Spring before leaving Tim Vaughan and who I think is the new Yards best chance.
MICHAEL is most keen on KINGSTON KID of the number of Irish runners.
I also think that COLONEL MANDERSON is worth some shrapnel each way, a nice mark and a nice e/w price and in the Tracker and definite signs last time of running into some sort of form. Finally, I will be having a small e/w on Mickey Hammonds BALKOTIC at long odds, it's a typical streaky Hammond horse, out of form apparently but it does hit hot streaks out of the blue as wins last year off marks of 87-90 and 95 suggest and the booking of a decent 10lbs Claimer off a mark of 98 is very interesting!
