A very poor day yesterday, we won't hide the fact that such days are very disappointing. The rain has started to just soften up the ground though thankfully and we start to see today the impact that can have with more competitive double figure sized all age handicaps than we've had for about 6 weeks. That allows us to have more choice of race, fewer selections per race and altogether a different dynamic in terms of looking for genuine each way value that can be backed up by analysis and greater confidence. It looks like we are now locked in to a showery spell of a mix of sunshine, showers and generally warm weather for the next 2 weeks at least, and a chance to really get the Flat Turf season in to full swing.

 

We will attack 4 competitive handicaps today at 4 venues, two afternoon, two evening Meetings and a clear top 2 rated in each of those races with between 11 and 14 runners. We will note a few others in each race to note or follow forwards and we have 3 TRACKER horses , all noted last time out, in the TRACKER today, they may make a small unit 3 horse perm (Patent type bet) for those who like that sort of add on option.
