In the 3.30 at Brighton Solveigs Song has a decent place chance in a poor race in the context of some proven Course form and it won here in 2016 off marks of 51 and 55, then was runner up off a mark of 61. That basically blew asunder the handicap mark of a horse who really should be operating in and around the low 50's. That has knocked confidence but signs last few runs that form and confidence is returning and off a mark of 46, the horse (still only 6) looks overpriced and the sort to start winning again soon.

In the 7.45 at Chepstow we will have a bash with Tallys Son. A 66/1 winner here 2 races back, did not run as well upped at a mile last time elsewhere. I like Course and Distance form here and Trainer Grace Harris has great joy here on Flat and NH and remember trains one of our favourite and best profit providers the wonderful PADDY THE OSCAR!. My angle here is "pace" simply there is little other than Tallys Son and on the Going and this undulating Course that can unbalance horses not used to it, I can just visualise Tallys Son running from the front and asking questions of everything in behind and with SKYBET going odds to 4th place; looks a decent each way poke.
