Wetherby 3.53 Handicap Hurdle - Class 3 - 3 miles - 12 run - Soft

 

A competitive race with Off The Jury for Alan King and owned and ridden by David Maxwell the clear favourite. This one has had a wind operation and may prefer better ground so is opposable at the price I believe.  Bowling Buddy is very consistent as form figures of  1211132 prove but is upped half a mile in trip and again, not much in terms of each way value. 

 

A couple who deserve mentions are Hurricane Highway who reverts to Hurdles for the first time since 2022, still only a 7 year old who by-passed Handicap Hurdles to go Chasing he could be very dangerous, as could Shared, an ex Flat horse having a first foray at 3 miles. Benassi for the in-form Olly murphy yard is very inconsistent but has ability and he was my 3rd top rated.

 

At the big-price end of the market I will TRACK forwards Curley Finger who progressed well last season including a 3 timer. A very truncated season this time around and might still need this run but definitely one to follow.
