Tuesday 1st April
Handicap Hurdles - 2 miles 3 furlongs - (2 Divisions of 17 runners) - Good
5.12 - Both SEASETT and MIDNIGHT EAGLE have shown form in the past that few can match and have proven that this better ground will suit them. Outside of a top pair in each who are at restricted odds and with enhanced places up to 5th on offer both are in with a chance of a win but it would equally be very disappointing if they were not placed in the first 5 home at the very least.
5.45 - In the same vein of analysis both SCOTT LANG who looks a shade better in Class than almost all of these and THE LUCKY LOBSTER who has shown best form on this sort of ground are the top 2 rated. It seems a slightly deeper field in this one and if you wanted to play to 5 places then CHEFS KISS was very closely rated to the top pair and would have been a certain tip if in the 1st Division of the race. It will be equally disappointing if these 3 horses don't pick up some place money at the very least.
6.15 - Handicap Chase - 2 mile 3 and 1/2 furlongs - 14 run - Good
The one who really stands out as cracking each way value here is ANOTHER OCANA. A Course winner at 2 miles last April and 4th over an extended 2 miles 7 furlongs here last time, a drop to a mark of 99 looks ideal, the drop in trip is also a big factor and it will be disappointing if he is not bang in contention in a tricky and quite deep race. If he were a non runner then SNOW PUNT would be a sporting e/w option
