Friday 11th July

York 2.10 - Handicap - Class 3 - 7 furlongs - 15 run - Good

The top of the market is dominated by the still untapped potential of the lightly raced Dubai Treasure on only it's 5th start and first on turf since 2023 and Streets Of Gold, whose best form remains as a 2 year old in 2022 but who is eased in grade and has won on both visits here. at around 4/1 the pair, I am happy to take them on with more exposed but strongly analysed form horses at nice e/w odds.

Sword is upped in Class for O'Meara who is always dangerous here and  is deserving of a mention but my confident e/w top 2 are OBELIX  who has had a wind operation, 7 furlongs is definitely optimum trip for this one and off a win mark this one should really be in the first 4 home. The same can be said about PHYSIQUE who is already in the TRACKER, a repeat of Irish form would suffice and Pam Sly deserves to have this type of Friday / Saturday horse and continues to out-perform from her small stable. Quite simply, she can win any race with the ammunition on her excellent Training skills (Northern)

Newmarket 3.00 - Handicap Class 2 - 1 mile 6 furlongs - 13 run - Good to Firm

Often a race where we see some unexposed 12 furlong horses stepping up and some more exposed 2 mile types getting in a blow between Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood and some with a longer term eye on the Autumn Races over on the Rowley mIle.

I narrowed this down to 4 horses and think that Dancing In Paris, who is in career best form and Story Horse, whose form ties in closely will go very close here but there are just a couple I fancy a bit more in a compacted top end betting market, with frankly not a great deal screaming out to be backed at bigger prices.

Of the top end market horses I prefer ENDLESS VICTORY who is unexposed and an improving type with a possibly far higher ceiling than the aforementioned who may well seek to set the fractions and run away from the field. The other one at slightly longer odds is the TRACKER Horse ONEFORTHEGUTTER who could just be coming to hand again for a Yard whose form is better than it has been for a couple of seasons and who specialise in this type of race and horse. Chepstow 7.40 - Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile - 13 run - Good to Firm

It could be rattling ground by this Evening although hopefully a bit cooler for the crowd than at mid afternoon.

Ajrad and Alices Impact deservedly had the market but I just have a hunch may have done their winning for now off higher marks here, at the other end of the scale a small e/w on the outsider CELEBRATING ETHEL @ 22/1  who jumps off the page a little from a bit of a bandit yard may be an interesting side bet.

I rated First Encounter @ 14/1 (who is in the TRACKER) as my 3rd best and while hoping for a better run and with bare form better than places may indicate, he was bettered by a pair of attractively priced options.

SOI DAO definitely looks due and gets optimum conditions and from another of those Yards what seems to deliver when the chips are down, but you're not always sure when the chips are down, hopefully the horse will run to its merits tonight, if it does it wins in my analysis. MY AMBITION is a Distance winner who has a tendency to race off too fast but on the bone rattling ground that tactic may be ideal and the jockey is perfectly capable of getting the fractions right from pillar to post (The Advisor)
