Ayr 2.40 Handicap Hurdle - Class 3 - 3 miles 1/2 furlong - 14 run - Good To Soft

This is a very tricky race to fathom but I think that ACE OF SPADES is a strong favourite and anything around 3/1 is value. The only niggle is stamina but a Skelton runner rarely falls short in that department when upped in trip and often they improve for it. If there are any stamina chinks I want one with proven stamina and when it is also over Course and Distance so much the better. GAILLIMH A STAR is a Course specialist, runs off a nice mark, is I think half a stone better here anyway and I'll be very disappointed if he's not in the first 3 home here. (Robin)

Ayr 4.58 Handicap Hurdle (Hands and Heels Final) - 2 miles 4 and 1/2 - 13 run - Good to Soft

MILLYUPDAHILLY really caught my eye here as a younger horse with some scope to improve and certainly this Going and the left handed Track should perfectly fit that assessment. BALBOA is a solid horse who just seems to me to be running in to form and if anywhere near best would be a very solid each way proposition. (North)

Ballinrobe 6.47 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - 16 run - Good

I don't think the race is particularly deep and my top 3 rated are ITS TIME AGAIN whose time may indeed be due, a horse often best caught fresh and a Course winner who looks primed to run well. KALNOO is very well in on best form, gets its ground here and this does look like an easier assignment than last time when it may have caught a couple of horses in top form. MAX TIME will also appreciate the return to better underfoot conditions and ticks all the right boxes and should be finishing in the first 4-5 here. (Sean)
