ROBIN - Huntingdon 2.45 - Handicap Chase - Class 4 - 2 miles 7and 1/2 furlongs - 11 run - Good

 

Mixedwave is a TRACKER horse based on the Trainer Pam Sly and has had a great season but possibly vulnerable now off an increased mark. Not At Present for Ben Pauling and Gold Link for Emma Lavelle are more about potential than actual form at this stage but not lightly overlooked. Lord Sparky and Ioupy Collonges have solid chances in a tricky race and Concetto was the last one to be discarded and will be a very handy reserve IF either of the 2 selections are non runners.

 

ISLAND RUN likes an easy right handed track and this is most definitely a perfect option on that basis. Good or Good to Soft is ideal Going and the horse looks to have some scope and progression in it and has just been waiting for the dice to fall in to place. I'll be disappointed if he's not placed at worst here and confident of a win.

 

At bigger odds BELARGUS looks to be a very appealing price, it's eased in grade off a declining mark but has some good Course form and another who will be ideally suited by the better underfoot conditions. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't place in a competitive field.
