Exeter Tuesday 11th April

ROBIN - Exeter-:

1.45 Novice Handicap Hurdle - Class 4 - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - 13 run - Good to Soft (heavy rain)

I think we can have a bash at this race on the basis it'll before the worst of the deluge due has made a significant impact. There are some nice Novices in here from big Yards and many on handicap debut.

RISKINGTHEGROUND looks a worthy favourite and despite top weight worth a small e/w investment.

Of those with less experience and verifiable form both ST PATRICKS BRIDGE and  BUMPY JOHNSON have some interesting P2P form and ST PATRICKS BRIDGE may be of interest to those wanting a bigger priced one to follow.

I think though that the e/w banker may be the more exposed but perfectly capable SPORTING MIKE; he's shown a willingness to battle, has proven stamina and if they are running into a howling wind in heavy rain would definitely be the one I'd want onside.

TIPS (1) Sporting Mike / (2) Riskingtheground - see notes re St Patricks Bridge @ 20/1

3.45 - One to note here at a big early price is the rag of the market RADDON TOP - will love the conditions and the tougher the better and the more rain and wind the more I'd fancy it. Get on early for a small e/w and hopefully we'll get a nice return!. BALLYMAGROARTY BOY is the other one in the race who'd most appreciate a slog!
