Exeter 4.40

Exeter 4.40 A Class 4 race over 2 miles and 5 1/2 furlongs and the going is Good but been a few showers recently and therefore not on the firm side. No excuses for anything in a Going respect. Flying Verse drops in trip which is interesting but may need the run and often you can get a real fitness edge by going faster over shorter than ideal, getting a good blow and not pushing hard once the fatigue sets in - a Tracker to follow. Halloween Harry ran eye catchingly well last time on Handicap debut until unseating and I tracked him after that. I will have a small e/w saver courtesy of that Tracker information (see below).

The one i really like though is SATURDAYNIGHTFEVER - he comes out of a Chepstow race that I suggest everyone go and study and track the horses that finished 3rd to 7th in that race. The front pair are now rated above 140 and our tip runs off a mark of 115 having been miles clear in a group of 7 who pulled away. He finished a bit eased within 16 lengths and may be a better horse now than he was then given time to recover and strengthen a bit. A very good each way price I think.
