Mahler Appeal and Positive Thinking are in the TRACKER System and have good chances here but doubts in my mind too. Positive Thinking makes Handicap Chase debut and is upped in trip and although the recent Hurdle form is very positive I just don't think it's value at the current price with so many unknowns. Mahler Appeal was in consistent place form over hurdles before switching to fences and 2 x 3rd places suggests it will transition well. It lacks a bit of experience though still over the bigger obstacles and that just puts him out of my top 3 here to enhanced places.

 

Aoghan May was pulled up here yesterday but may reappear, Eddies Pride won at Fairyhouse in November off a basement mark of 75, ran well to be runner up at Clonmel off a break and will be a danger too here and just missed out also. I'm not sure what the best trip is for Baldurs Gate with Rachel in the saddle but i'm pretty sure it may not be 3 miles yet!. Four Country Roads can run two different ways and can pop up off marks around 70 but I think although it's in that range with the Claim he'd be nothing more than a £1 e/w horse and with his inconsistent profile, you could probably have that bet every run and come out about even each season.

 

I'm most keen at the weights on GOODNIGHTGODBLESS its fresh relative to some and weighted to go very close here and ticks all the right boxes, next best in my Ratings for today would be EARTHS FURIES, its been threatening to get competitive recently as the mark comes in to win range and that is in the mid 90's so no excuses here off a mark below 100, runs off 99 with a 5 lbs Claimer. The other one at bigger Odds but for whom JJ Slevin is an eye catching booking is DA BIG FELLA it's got down to a very interesting mark now, admittedly due to poor form but it has done appreciably better in the past off this sort of mark and with the booking I think well worth a small e/w poke if you want that option behind the main pair.
